Hello all my blogging friends! Sorry to be MIA so long! It has been a very very busy year so far! Can you believe it has been 15 YEARS since 'Seasons' has been in buisness??? Yes 15 wonderful years!!!! Throughout the year we will be celebrating all the years of success that we have been very blessed with!!!
We are starting off our celebrating this coming Friday & Saturday, April 8th & 9th with our annual Spring Open House! As a thank-you to our many customers who have supported us over the years the first 50 will receive a special thank-you gift. Customers can sign up for one of the many door prizes that will be offered while making your purchase. Also we will have specials through-out the shop. I can tell you that there is lots of new product that will be introduced the 1st day. We will be introducing a new look as well which is called the 'Early Look'. You will have to see this wonderful way of simple decor!
So if you are out and about in our area be sure to stop by and see all the new goodies. Make sure you tell us you are a blogger friend for a special drawing!

Just wanted to give you a reminder that "Seasons" Winter Wonderland Christmas Open House is this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Melissa has been busy getting the shop ready and all her wonderful artisans have been very busy bringing lots of new items to the shop for your Christmas decorating and gift giving! Also remember that she has "NEW" never before seen items you will get to see first thing Friday morning! Along with that be the first to see, before it hits the market, a new primitive item that is sure to be a must have! And you don't want to forget when making your purchase you can sign up for one of the many many door prizes to be given away. These prizes have been donated by Melissa and her very talented artisans! Homemade cookies and punch is going to be served as well. Yuuuummmmy! There is so much 'NEW' and exciting product that you are going to want to be early to get in the door! HELLO to all my blogging friends!!!! I am so sorry it has taken awhile to post here! Things have been super busy in my neck of the woods!
I do want to say however THANK-YOU to all of my blogging friends for stopping by the Fall Open House! Sorry I wasn't able to spend more time with some of you but as you saw we were very busy! And we have been non-stop since then! God sure has blessed the shop! We have some of the nicest customers you could ever meet!

We are now gearing up for the....................

Yes that's right! This Friday & Saturday will be our annual Fall open house! Let me tell you... Fall is definitly in the air at 'Seasons'..the crafters have been super busy getting ready for this open house. Lots of new items have been arriving daily! This is going to be a must see open house! The NEW items coming into the shop are absolutly beautiful! We have added some more crafters. Their items are such a wonderful addition to the shop! I have to say Melissa sure knows how to hand pick her crafters!
I'd like to welcome Cindy and Joe as two of our newest crafters. Cindy makes wonderful hand sewn items and makes her own patterns. Check out the picture of her beautiful handmade candy corn. Joe makes some wonderful prim wood pieces that will compliment your home quite nicely. His newest addition is his mud room bench. Also he makes the ever popular stove top covers as well. Coming soon is the sink top cover. These are both a great pieces to add more counter space to your kitchen.
Remember Jan and her beautiful hand painted pieces? Well she is back and her newest designs are amazing. Also Kim has shipped some more of her handmade goods as well. The shop is quickly filling up! One of our wood crafters just brought in a beautiful replica of a colonial sugar chest! Debbie and her father who is in his 90's make some wonderful hand crafted items for your home and outdoor decor!
Some of the items 'Seasons' carries are two lines of candles, tarts & tart burners(wait until you smell the Fall scents...mm good), wood items, dolls, primitive doilies, vintage items, antique items, wreaths, notepads, calenders, cards, pip berry items, towels, curtains, sweatshirts for kids & adults,furniture, outdoor decor, refinished furniture, lighted garlands, stitcheries, pottery, crocks, shelves, and much much more! You just won't believe your eyes! Fall items for your decorating and gift giving!
We have alot planned for this open house. Don't tell I told but you really need to get there Friday. Melissa has product that she is holding for the first day and I will tell you there will be limited quantities available. But like I said...don't tell I told! *Ü*
We are having refreshments provided by LeRena Reed of Tastefully Simple. They have some really great products so be sure to check them out! Each crafter is donating a hand crafted item for the many DOOR PRIZES we will be giving away. Be sure to sign up as you check out!

Hello to all my friends!
It has finally cooled down in my neck of the woods! I guess it is short lived but I will enjoy it for now! Before you know it Fall will be upon us. Awwwwwwwww my favorite time of year!I sure hope you are enjoying some cool weather as well!
I wanted to share with you a new crafter who now sells her wares at 'Seasons'. Kim is from the Pittsburgh area and her wonderful items are such a nice addition to the shop! Kim hand makes all of her items putting lots of detail into each piece. Some of her things are very new to the area. Make sure you stop by and see her beautiful works of art!
Also remember the FALL OPEN HOUSE is Friday September 3rd and Saturday September 4th. Check back to see some of the goodies that will be offered for sale! Items are coming in daily. We are ready for Fall at 'Seasons'!

I'm just busting at the seams to tell you what is NEW at 'Seasons' that is being brought in by one of our crafters.It is POTTERY from Zanesville, Ohio. If you want to add some wonderful pottery pieces to your decor we have it now. Also she will be bringing in snowmen and Santas for the holidays! You are going to love it all! These pottery pieces are great additons to your primitive or country decor. So be sure to stop in and check it out!

I'm busting at the seams here with excitement! Melissa has decided to expand by acepting some NEW crafters! If you are a crafter and think you have something different and new to add to the shop then we want you! Just add a comment here with your email addy and either I or Melissa will get in touch with you! I can tell you one thing you will not be disappointed! We have a huge customer base and are located in a very high traffic area! If you are an antique dealer we are looking for you too. Right now she is accepting 1 new antique dealer that offers a variety of things at reasonable prices! Many times have we've been told how affordable the items we offer in the shop. With the economy the way it is we are really looking for people who offer great prices as well as great product!
We have just recently added 2 *NEW* crafters to "Seasons". We would like to welcome both Jan Young and Kim Lance! Both are from out of state and will be shipping great items to the shop. You can see their designs starting in August! Jan is a true artist and good friend of mine! She takes everyday items and turns them into beautiful pieces of art! Something she will be sending to the shop are her paintings on turkey feathers! Her intricate detail she adds to her pieces is just amazing! I am proud to say I own some of her works of art and get so many wonderful comments on each and every item!
Kim Lance is a good freind of mine as well! She specializes in Raggedy Annes and other soft goods! Her items as well will be a welcomed addition to "Seasons".
Spaces a filling up fast so remember if you have something unique to add to the shop please be sure to leave a comment.

Hello everyone!
Hope you are able to stay nice and cool with all this heat we have been having! I wanted to pop in here to update you on some happenings coming up at 'Seasons' and also share some of my ramblings!
The first thing I want to update you on is the 'Fall Open House'. So get those calenders out and mark them now!!! "The Fall Gathering" Open House will be FRIDAY-SEPTEMBER 3RD 11-6 & SATURDAY-SEPTEMBER 4TH 11-6. Come join us for lots of new product! Items for indoor and outdoor decorating. The kids will be back in school so its time to start that Fall decorating and enjoy some shopping!
As told by the many customers we have, we are the BEST of the BEST when it comes to the latest trends in both seasonal & everyday decor and gift giving items.Come enjoy the new scents for Fall. Fill your home with THE BEST smelling tarts around!! Set the mood for Fall with our special Fall scents! Customers come for miles and have us ship these special formulated tarts. You have to see our primtive tarts as well. They not only smell wonderful but they also look wonderfully prim just sitting in a clear glass jar awaiting to release their scent in one of our BEST selling tart burners. We have test marketed alot of different tart burners and we now only offer the best to our customers! Always remember we gift bag for free! We will have lots of suprises in store for you also at the open house. Some items will only be seen the first day so be sure to get there early. The crafters are very busy working on new and exciting product to make this a must see Fall Gathering Open house! We will be having door prize drawings. These hand-did items we give away are donated by one of our many talented crafters. Refreshments will be prepared by a consultant of Tastefully Simple. Come enjoy the yummy goodies! We promise to help set the mood for the upcoming Fall season!!!
Another update is that 'Seasons' WILL NOT be closed on Mondays. By much request by our wonderful customers we will be open our regular hours. Monday through Saturday 11~6. When you stop by be sure to tell them I(Judy) sent you!
Just a little something that I would like to add (rambling here LOL).Never do we copy any of our ideas from other people nor do we intend to. Our daughter does such a wonderful job in running her buisness. She is constantly rearranging and making the shop look interesting and unique.We do alot of research on what is the newest and best priced items for the shop.She never allows another crafter to bring an item into the shop that another crafter has made and is already in there. We don't go to other shops looking for ideas either.This is what keeps "Seasons" a top notch shop and a successful shop. We have some of the best crafters around. Melissa loves sharing new ideas with her crafters for them to make.
Unfotunatley it has came to my attention that there are folks who frequent this blog for ideas for shops they display in.This person/persons know who they are. Shops are to work with each other by having things different that will want customers to frequent ALL shops!
So with that being said I will sign off for now!

Now for the shop update. New items have been arriving almost daily! If you are a East Liverpoll High School Alumni make sure you stop by to say hello to Melissa (Class of 1996) or to me (Judy Class of 75). We would love to see you!!!
We do have some new summer hours so please make note of them. We will be closed on Mondays starting July 1st and will be open Tuesday-Saturday 11-6 each day. This is so Melissa can spend more time at home with our grandkids during summer. I will post when we will go back to the regular shop hours.
We have some wonderful Americana items in the shop right now along with more everyday items. Shhhhh don't tell I told but we are finalizing the plans for the Fall Gathering Open House!!! Wait until you see this one! Totally different from what we have done in the past. I will tell you LOT & LOTS of suprises!!!!!

Good Sunday Morning!
'This is the day the Lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it'! I've always loved this scripture!!
And rejoicing we are! Many blessings we have received since opening the shop. And this open house was blessed as well!Praise God!!!
Shoppers were lined up outside waiting to get in to see what Melissa had new. Once she opened the door shoppers were scurrying to find what was new! Our outside was packed as you can see in the pictures as well with wonderful items for the outdoors. Some had items in hand making their way to the counter to sit them while they shopped for more treasures. I love sitting back and listening to all the compliments Melissa recieves from her customers. She has a real knack for setting the shop and making it look so interesting. Kenny & I are both so very proud of her!! Her customers also love her one on one help she offers for picking the just perfect item for their home or gift! We have had customers come in that she has helped decorate their entire home. Our layaway we offer is a plus for people who are redecorating becasue if there is something you see you like you better get it then or lay it away. Nothing stands still in the shop for very long!
Now if you are ever in our neck of the woods make sure you stop by so you can see first hand all the goodies Melissa has to offer. Make sure you mention the blog!

Remember these dates! It is our annual "Spring Gathering Open House".It is hard to believe how fast time flies by. Can you believe 1 week from this coming Friday is the open house? The crafters have been busy making new items for the shop and Melissa has been ordering new and exciting items for the shop as well. Melissa and Scott have been busy re-doing some great furniture for the open house too!
REMEMBER alot of NEW items will only be seen the very first day of the open house. So be there bright and early! "Seasons" will be open their regular hours...11-6
We really hope you make to see what is new in decorating and gift giving. We will have NEW items for your garden and Mother's Day as well as more everyday items for home and gift giving.

I sure don't know about everyone feeling this way but we sure are happy to see the month of February behind us now! Here in our little town we had 30.8 inches of snow and then had another 4 inches fall a few days after that one did. Yes, insult upon insult!
Isn't it nice to see the sun shining and even some flowers starting to poke their heads out of the ground!? I know at our son and his wives (Richie & Missy)house they have crocus' with beautiful purple buds getting ready to bloom any day now.
At the shop we are filling it daily with new spring products as well as other goodies! Entering the shop you are greeted with a nice assortment of spring and Easter items. It is like a breath of fresh air! Also greeting you are the aromas of the many new and same WONDERFUL tarts made by my sister Joyce. We get so many nice compliments on her tarts being the best!And believe me....they are! Must be the secret ingredient she uses? I don't know but they are flying out the door!
Another thing that is a must see is all the new primitives that have arrived! Great quality with great prices!

We have a brand new candle line by the Black Crow Candle Company and they are flying off the shelves. The scents are out of this world! The scent throw of these candles is amazing! Stop by when you get the chance and check them out!

Hello everybody!
Here in Ohio I think just about everything is shut down. We have been blasted here with some really bone chilling weather along with lots of snow and more to come! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr
I wanted to let everyone know that new items have been arriving at Seasons. We now have some wonderful Valentine items in the shop. Both perfectly prim and some not so prim. But as always something for everyone's liking! Along with these items you are also going to find new items for home decor and gift giving.
Also we are still having our sale on Chritmas items and snowmen items. You will find mark downs from 20% - 50%. Now is the time to get some great buys for next years holidays! Some everyday items have been marked down as well. We are clearing out to make room for lots of new products!
We have been browsing catalogs and online sites. We like to stay on top of what is new out there for our customers! Also we like to offer new trends and nothing but the top of the line products. Our crafters are getting busy with new product to bring in as well. Just to let you know one of the new items coming to 'Seasons' is a brand new candle line. Yes we will continue to offer the highly scented Warm Glo candles along new candles that have a scent throw that is unbelievable!

Hello everyone!
I'm so sorry that I haven't been here for awhile! I was having computer problems and wasn't able to get online for very long at all! We hope each and everyone of you had a very peaceful and Merry Christmas!!
Melissa and I would like to thank all of our friends and customers for supporting "Seasons" throughout the year!! We thank-you for all your wonderful and kind words! It is all of you who make "Seasons" such a huge success!
We are looking forward to the new year. We have been researching for the lastest in decor and gift giving and will be excited to share what is new in 2010!
We will be closed January 1st - January 5th to reset the shop and make room for new items. We will re-open Wednesday - January 6th. Right now we are running a SALE on select items in the shop. You can find things marked down from 25% - 50% off. Great time to stock up on some goodies!

Well we have started the hustling and bustling of getting ready for the weekend. Yes thats right! It is the Christmas Open House this weekend! We sure have lots of fun planned! Melissa has been really busy with resetting the shop. Some items will not be seen until the 1st day of the Open House so get there early. I promise you...you won't want to miss seeing the newest goodies!

Each customer who spends $10.00 or more will recieve a FREE handmade Christmas ornament.

When checking out be sure to sign up for one of the many DOOR PRIZES we will be giving away. Each crafter has generously donated a hand-crafted item! They are WONDERFUL!

Be one of the 1st 25 customers to spend $25.00 or more and you will recieve a SUPRISE!!!

We will be serving some old fashioned home baked cookies along with some festive punch!

Saturday the Jubliee Church youth group headed by youth Pastor Amiee George will be Christmas caroling in front of the shop from 1:00-3:00.

WE ARE! Yes that's right! Melissa is making her final review of the commercial she made with Comcast. I'm so very excited about this new adventure for her! You will not only see our daughter Melissa but also my good friend Brenda who works at the shop too and of course some of the goodies the shop offers. Stay tuned! Our Deepest Sympathy!

It is with a heavy heart that I post that one of our crafters and friend , Shirley McCoy, has passed away! She was only 57 years old. She was only in the hospital since this past Friday and passed away on Tuesday of this week. They had found a very small tumor at the top of her spine. They checked her liver and it was totally gone. They said it was the very fast growing cancer.
Shirley has been with the shop since opening in 1993. Before that she did craft shows along with her sister Ruth. This is how we met back in the 80's. Shirley was a very gifted crafter! She always had a smile on her face and one I won't forget!
We will find peace in knowing that the good Lord spared her for a long suffering death and that now she is home with our Lord.
Please keep this family in your prayers.
May you rest in Peace Shirley!!! We will miss you!!
